ON COUNCIL TAX REVALUATION

The Local Government Minister, Nick Raynsford MP, has answered a Parliamentary question by stating that the revaluation has been set for 2005, with new Council Tax bills sent in 2007 and that revaluation's will take place every 10 years. He also said that:

"Revaluation would not lead to any increase or decrease in the overall revenue raised from council tax".
