In the 1999-2000 season:

it ran a series of highly successful workshops for 1650 school children during National Orchestra Week

it presented Alasdair Malloy's Mad Hatter's Musical Tea Party during February half term which sold out

once more brought Ensemble Bash and their Round The World Tour to Guildford following their success with the schools who attended last year

it maintained its special £3 concessionary ticket for children at all concerts

In the 2000-2001 season:
it presented Alasdair Malloy's Bugs!! concert during February half term which also sold out

ran workshops for over 1000 students in schools throughout the South East

continued its special £3 concessionary ticket for children at all concerts

In the 2001-2002 season:

it presented Alasdair Malloy's Carnival!! concert during February half term which sold out

ran workshops for over 1000 throughout the South East

It may have been a washout outside the hall, but inside it was hot with
nearly 500 people doing
the "Alasdair" conga!

Ensemble Bash Ensemble Bash
This amazing percussion group run special World Tour concerts. Here is a letter, which speaks for itself, from a member of the audience:

Dear Ensemble Bash
I remember the piece in which you play a drum, You started playing softly and slowly then you hit the drum faster and faster but with the same strength as when you started.

I could not believe how loud it was after a few seconds. I felt, for a bit, afterwards deaf but I did enjoy it. That was the first instrument show I’ve been to. I think you did that act brilliantly. I could not believe my eyes when I saw all those instruments. It was absolutely super. I wish I could come again.
Yours sincerely

Alexander
